Liam Fleming
RESEARCH ANALYST
Liam Fleming joined The Aubrey Group as a Research Analyst in 2023. In 2021 he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University, majoring in English and Minoring in Digital Studies. He received his Master’s Degree in English from Rutgers in 2022, with a concentration in Literature and Social Justice. During college, Liam worked as a Writing Tutor for Rutgers’ Writing and Design Lab. For his graduate Capstone Project, Liam recorded, edited, and produced a research podcast. This podcast discussed cultural assumptions about organized labor - where assumptions come from, who benefits from them, and how to counteract them. Through this project, Liam interviewed multiple thinkers and members of the modern labor movement, including Sherry Wolff, Dr. James Brown, and Sarah Jaffe.
Before joining The Aubrey Group, Liam worked in multiple positions in the Camden County Library, working with the public and helping manage the catalog. He also served as a Trustee in the Communication Workers of America. As a Trustee, he helped organize the Library’s support staff and acted as a go-between for staff and management. His responsibilities included monthly Trustee meetings, seasonal development training, and regular conversations with the Library’s support staff. Liam is passionate about using research and writing to materially improve people’s lives and working conditions.
