The Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance Intellectual Property Enforcement Program: Protecting Public Health, Safety, and Economy from Counterfeit Goods and Product Piracy supports law enforcement and prosecutors who have an intellectual property (IP) enforcement task force or plan to create one.

The Intellectual Property Enforcement Program (IPEP) assists these agencies in sharing information and preventing and reducing intellectual property thefts and related crimes both in their community and adjacent communities.

Awardees can receive up to $400,000. Applications are due April 3, 2025, for this opportunity.

The Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation exists to save historic environments in order to foster an appreciation of our nation’s diverse cultural heritage and to preserve and revitalize the livability of the nation’s communities through funding the planning of activities and education efforts focused on historic preservation.

Public agencies and non-profits are eligible to apply by March 3, 2025, for this $2,500-$15,000 opportunity.

The mission of the Robert & Joan Dircks Foundation is to support non-profit organizations that enrich and improve the quality of life for individuals primarily located in the New Jersey area. The focus is to encourage innovative programs and projects that benefit and improve the lives of children and individuals who are physically, mentally, or economically disadvantaged.

Funding applications are due five times a year on January 20, April, 1, May 26, September 4, and November 3.

Awards range from $1,000-$15,000.

AARP's Community Challenge Demonstration Grant program funds projects that benefit residents, particularly those age 50 or older, in the following categories:

  • Enhancing pedestrian safety by creating safer streets and sidewalks.

  • Expanding high-speed internet (broadband) access and adoption.

  • Reconnecting communities divided by infrastructure.

  • Implementing housing design competitions that increase community understanding and encourage policies that enable greater choice in housing.

Municipalities and nonprofit organizations with ready-to-go projects are eligible for this opportunity. Awards range from $10,000 to $20,000, and applications are due by March 5, 2025. Matching funds are not required.

The International Mountain Bicycling Association's (IMBA) Trail Accelerator Grants provide a jump-start to communities that have the interest and political support to develop trail systems but need assistance to get projects up and running. A Trail Accelerator grant offers awardees professional trail planning and consultation services to launch their trail development efforts. These services can often leverage additional investment from local, regional, and national partners.

Local, municipal, state, or federal government agencies and 501(c)(3) nonprofits that actively manage parks and trails may apply for this opportunity. Applications will be accepted from March 1 to April 30, 2025. Awards range from $5,000 to $30,000 and require a 1:1 funding match.

The purpose of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for Historic Interiors is to assist in the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of historic interiors. Grants from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for Historic Interiors generally range from $2,500 to $15,000 and require a 1:1 funding match. Examples of eligible activities include:

  • Obtaining professional expertise in areas such as architecture, planning, paint analysis, archeology, or graphic design.

  • Hiring a preservation architect to create an interior restoration plan.

  • Hiring a consultant to develop a conservation plan for an interior's textiles.

  • Producing a historic furnishings plan.

  • Sponsoring a workshop on the preservation of historic interiors.

  • Restoration, rehabilitation, stabilization, and preservation of designated historic interiors, including bricks-and-mortar interior construction.

Public agencies and non-profits are eligible to apply through March 3, 2025. Individuals and for-profit businesses may apply only if the project for which funding is requested involves a National Historic Landmark.

The Dickey Foundation provides grants to nonprofits and government organizations to help protect first responders. As a foundation sponsored by Dickey's Barbecue Pit and Frito Lay, priority is given to applicants in proximity to a Dickey's Barbecue Pit location. Most awards range from $5,000 to $10,000 and can be used to purchase rescue gear as well as protective and communications equipment. Applications are rolling throughout the year and reviewed quarterly. The next quarterly deadline is on March 31, 2025.
