Hosted by Fordham University, the Flourishing in Community Grantmaker invites project proposals for funding at levels of $150,000, $250,000, and $350,000. This funding is intended to support community-driven projects within Region 2, which includes New Jersey.
Eligible projects should address climate change and environmental justice issues, develop strategic community-based plans in response to these challenges, and implement these plans to foster growth and resilience in historically disadvantaged communities.
Funding for this program originated from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Thriving Communities grant program. Applications are due March 31, 2025.

The New Jersey Council for Humanities is offering Incubation and Action Grants to nonprofits and government entities for public humanities projects.
Incubation Grants support the planning and development of public humanities projects.
Action Grants support the implementation or continuation of public humanities projects.
Funding ranges from $3,000-$15,000 for this opportunity. Interested applicants must submit a Letter of Interest by March 31, 2025, and a complete application by April 15, 2025.

The Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance Intellectual Property Enforcement Program: Protecting Public Health, Safety, and Economy from Counterfeit Goods and Product Piracy supports law enforcement and prosecutors who have an intellectual property (IP) enforcement task force or plan to create one.
The Intellectual Property Enforcement Program (IPEP) assists these agencies in sharing information and preventing and reducing intellectual property thefts and related crimes both in their community and adjacent communities.
Awardees can receive up to $400,000. Applications are due April 3, 2025, for this opportunity.

The Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation exists to save historic environments in order to foster an appreciation of our nation’s diverse cultural heritage and to preserve and revitalize the livability of the nation’s communities through funding the planning of activities and education efforts focused on historic preservation.
Public agencies and non-profits are eligible to apply by March 3, 2025, for this $2,500-$15,000 opportunity.

The mission of the Robert & Joan Dircks Foundation is to support non-profit organizations that enrich and improve the quality of life for individuals primarily located in the New Jersey area. The focus is to encourage innovative programs and projects that benefit and improve the lives of children and individuals who are physically, mentally, or economically disadvantaged.
Funding applications are due five times a year on January 20, April, 1, May 26, September 4, and November 3.
