Remembering Angelina Carione
The Aubrey Group family mourns one of our own
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Angelina Carione, following a fierce battle against breast cancer. The Aubrey Group was a small team of six when she first joined, but Angelina Carione was a giant among us. Her kindness and joy were infectious, felt by our Aubrey Group family and clients alike. Angelina served as our Senior Director of Economic Development from 2021 through 2023. Her ingenuity charted our course into the cannabis licensure space, and through her leadership, we assisted businesses in navigating this newly legalized industry. Angelina is a connector, and her ability to join people helped grow our team to who we are today. Her ability to genuinely care for others created an environment of exuberance and hope.
While fighting her own battle against breast cancer, Angelina became a fierce advocate and supporter of breast and ovarian cancer patients. She connected The Aubrey Group with the nonprofit Unite for HER and led our team in a pro bono project that resulted in a large grant to provide resources and support for women experiencing breast and ovarian cancer. Angelina’s work continues to impact thousands of brave women who fight this same fight.
Angelina is a beautiful beam of light, and her son and husband will carry her light onward. She is the epitome of the values we hold dear: Curiosity, Diligence, and Kindness. As Angelina stated, “Give love, accept love, emanate love. Every day. Because sharing love IS living.”
Today, and every day, The Aubrey Group shares love in remembrance of Angelina.
The Aubrey Group will be closed on Tuesday, August 27th in honor of Angelina. Obituary and service details can be found here. Angelina’s loved ones and community members are accepting donations that will go towards a college fund for her son, Alex, helping her husband Jason pay down their mortgage, and supporting Alex with activities and resources.

The Aubrey Group will be launching a grant writing fellowship program in Angelina’s honor so that we can continue her work fighting breast cancer and advocating for patients. We look forward to sharing details in the near future.
