Weekly Grant Round-Up
The Institute of Museum and Library Services' Museums for America grant program funds museums of all sizes and disciplines for projects that serve the public. Eligible projects include:
Exhibitions.
Educational or interpretive programs.
Digital learning resources.
Professional development for museum staff.
Community dialogues.
Collections management, curation, care, and conservation.
Local governments and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Applicants can receive up to $250,000, with a one-to-one match.
Proposals for this program are due November 15, 2024.

The United States Economic Development Authority's Build to Scale program helps entrepreneurs throughout the country demonstrate, deploy, and deliver new technologies. This is done by growing new companies and creating good jobs for US citizens. Organizations, such as local governments, are eligible to apply for projects that aid companies in developing, demonstrating, and deploying new technologies. Eligible projects for this program must meet the following criteria:
Building public and private capacity for entrepreneurs to invent and improve new products and services in critical and emerging US industries.
Accelerating the growth of regional economies that are focused on critical industries of the future.
Empowering communities to assist technology innovators and entrepreneurs.
Increase technology-enabled entrepreneurs' access to capital.
Local governments can partner with private organizations, and receive up to $5 million in funding with a 1:1 match. Applications are due October 28, 2024.

The New Jersey Department of Labor's Opportunity Partnership Training Grant funds workforce training providers to help displaced and dislocated workers secure employment. This program prioritizes jobs in industry sectors that are recognized and driven by New Jersey employers' needs.
The goal of this program is to reconnect training participants with gainful employment that offers them a full-time, year-round wage of at least $18.00 per hour. Training providers can apply for $8,000 per trainee, with a maximum award of $200,000.
This program has two funding rounds, with Letters of Intent for the first round due October 16, 2024.
